Here is your chance to challenge the legendary Belmont Plateau Cross Country 5,000 Meter Course. Site of many past NCAA, Olympic,National and High School Champions and is one of the most famous XC courses in the country! Whether you are a PCL alumni or an interested runner, you are invited to join us and see how you can perform at Belmont and support Philadelphia Catholic League Athletics. The Open race will be held at 1pm followed by the Girls and Boys JV and Varsity XC Championship. A Full day of Cross Country Championships. Where: Belmont Plateau (Fairmount Park). Park is located just off the Montgomery Ave. exit of RT 76 (Schuylkill Expressway). Parking on site. When: Saturday, October 22, 2011 1 pm Amenities: First 150 runners receive T-Shirts, Refreshments at the finish. Porta potty bathroom facilities on site. Unique Gold, Silver and Bronze Philadelphia Catholic Medals to the top 15 Men finishers (Men/Women) Philadelphia Catholic League Open TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (Jack Saint Clair Award) Open only to Philadelphia Catholic League Teams (all PCL graduates , make sure to fill list your Catholic League school and date you graduated on individual form. You did not have to of run XC in high school to count for your PCL school in the race. Top 3 overall from each school will count in the scoring with points taken from overall place in the race. Lowest total of the 3 scoring runners is awarded winner.
