Men: 5 MILES       Women: 6,000 Meters      

                                                                             2008 RESULTS           

Where: Belmont Plateau, Philadelphia, Pa.  (Belmont Plateau is located 1/4 mile west off the Montgomery
    Drive Exit of the Schuylkill Expressway (Rt 76).  Intersection of Montgomery Dr and Belmont Mansion Dr).

Courses:   The Men's 5 Mile course ("old course) was designed by "Saint" in the 1960s and
        include Flagpole,Surekill, and Nursery Hills. The Belmont Plateau course is one
        of the most historic and challenging XC courses in the country, one that every
        XC runner should run. The course is a mix of grass and gravel trails.
        
       The Women's 6,000 course will be an extended version of the high school course
       and will include Flagpole, Parachute and Nursery Hill.  
    

Start Times:        
               Women's 6,000 Meter Championship        8:30 AM   
               Men's 8,000 Meter Championship             9:15 AM

Awards:  Men's 5 mile and Women's 6,000 will award overall champion ($100), 2nd ($50), and
  3rd ($25) Cash along with award.   10 year age group of 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39,
  40-49, 50-59, and 60 and above (top 3)
  Also: First Temple Runner and First Cardinal Dougherty Male runner
  Awards ceremony will follow shortly after each race
  Cash and Gift certificate awards to the first 3 Mid Atlantic USATF finishers
  $300 to the 5 Mile Course record breaker of Dave Merrick (24:44/1974)

                    The Jack Saint Clair Memorial is sanctioned by the USATF and is part
                     of the 2009 USATF Mid Atlantic Cross Country Series. For more info

Amenities:  The first 75 runners will receive a Tshirt. Post race food and beverages will be available.   

Benefits: Proceeds will benefit the Philadelphia Athletic Charities mission  to aid in the
     continued maintenance of the Belmont Plateau Cross Country Courses.
