Maps and Directions
Fast Cat Marathon Teams train primarily on the two most beautiful courses in the Philadelphia
area. The team practices will start at either at Lloyd Hall of Boathouse row or the Valley Green Inn
on the Wissahickon Creek Forbidden Drive Trail.
Boathouse Row (Kelly Drive)
The Lloyd Hall Boathouse is the first building on the corner of Sedgley and Kelly Drive. The row of
Old time Victorian style houses is known as Boathouse Row. The training teams will run along
the beautiful Schuylkill River, Belmont Plateau and Memorial Hall area of Philadelphia. We
recommend using Google Maps for directions to Lloyd Hall for directions. Use "Kelly Drive and
Sedgley Drive (19130) as your destination.
Valley Green Inn (Wissahickon Creek/ Forbidden Drive Trail)
The Valley Green Inn is a historic inn located at the 2.5 mile mark of a quiet 5.3 mile trail along the
Wissahickon Creek in Fairmount Park. The team will train on the beautiful, quiet trail in the Chesnut
Hill area of Philadelphia. The trail is an ideal for runners since it connects onto the Manyunk Canal
trail and offers many different trail options for training. The trails are off limits to cars but parking
is found in lots next to the Fordbidden Drive. Entrance to the Inn are from Springfield Ave (from
Chesnut Hill) or Weis Mill Road (from Roxborogh section) of Philadelphia. We recomend using
Google Maps (19128) with Henry Ave and Weis Mill Road as your destination.
